Samana by air

Explore the best of Samana, including a stop at a plantation to taste fresh coffee, cocoa and honey. Ride a horse along rocky trails through the forest to visit El Limón Waterfall, then enjoy lunch at a seaside restaurant. Cross to picturesque Cay Levantado to relax on the white sand beach under palm trees. Round-trip transportation, transfers and expert guides are included at every stage of the trip. We depart from Punta Cana Airport in the morning to Arroyo Barril Airport in Samaná.

Upon arrival, transportation will be waiting for you, this is where the tour begins, through thick vegetation to reach what we call a “Batey” (humble village), where you will visit a typical house to enjoy Dominican coffee and Cacao.

At Salto del Limón, which is a 52-meter waterfall you can enjoy a pleasant bath and then return to the ranch for a delicious buffet lunch. Later, we continue our journey of discovery towards the towns of La Colonia and Juana Vicenta, after which you reach Samaná Bay, one of the most interesting places in the Dominican Republic for its natural beauty.

07:20 Pick up at hotels from PUJ.

08:30 Arrival at PUJ airport local flights. Arrival in Samana. Ground transportation through the interior.

10:30 Visit of a typical ranch where an explanation of the typical products is made.

11:30 Arrival at the town of Limón. Preparation of horses heading to Lemon waterfall.

13:30 End of the horse activity. Typical lunch at the Ranch.

15:00 Arrival at the Samana pier. Sailing to Cayo Levantado.

16:30 Arrival at the port again. Transportation to the airport.

17:30 Takeoff of the plane to Punta Cana.

18:00 Arrival at the Punta Cana airport. Transfer to the Hotels.
